We offer a select number of classes throughout the year. When registration opens, we post a sign-up link right here on this page. Spots are first come, first served, and payment is due at sign-up to secure your place.

Class Descriptions
Adult Classes
Whether you're new to pottery or ready to level up, our adult classes offer a foundational introduction to working with clay. All adult classes are 18+.
Adult Beginner
This 8-week class will cover the foundations of working with clay: hand-building, throwing on the wheel, trimming, and glazing your pieces. This class is a pre-requisite to joining the guild.
Intro to Handbuilding
5-week introductory class. Discover hand-building, decoration, and glazing. Perfect if you're curious about clay but not ready to jump into throwing.
Intro to Pottery
A 6-week introductory class to working with clay: hand-building, throwing, trimming, and glazing. Note: this class does not count toward requirements to join the FMPG.
Youth Classes
Age ranges are firm to ensure each class is developmentally appropriate and paced for its group.
Youth Intro to Handbuilding
4-week after-school classes for kids to learn hand-building techniques and finish pieces by painting and glazing. Times confirmed at registration.
Teen Intro to Pottery
A five-week intro for teens aged 12-17. Introductory classes on working with clay: throwing, trimming, and glazing.
Teen & Adult Intro to Pottery
Learn pottery with your teen (13+) during this 5-week class. A hands-on intro to hand-building, throwing, trimming, and glazing. Costs are $200 per person.
Please respect our age ranges. Our class sizes, instructor ratios, and activities are planned around specific developmental stages. You may be asked to present a birth certificate or ID at registration. If a child is identified to be under 8 years old after classes begin, parents will be advised that they cannot return, and fees will be refunded.

Registration for all pottery classes will be completed online. The registration link will be added here on registration day and will be sent out in our mailing list.
A link for registration will be added to the website. The access code for each class will be posted on a specified date and time which will be advertised through out Facebook page and mailing list.
FMPG will send an invoice by email. All payments are due upon receipt to secure your spot for the class.
We accept credit card and debit cards. We do not accept Interac e-transfers.
Only one application per person will be accepted for all adult pottery classes and workshops. You can sign up for one person- either for yourself or on behalf of someone else.
